DAY 1: Hanoi arrival ( Welcome dinner)

 Anytime you arrive in Noi Bai Airport,  our tour guide and driver will pick you up and transfer you to hotel.

You are free until 5:00 PM, we will arrange cyclo tour for 1 hour around the old quarter and you will take a short walk to see the old quarter.

19:00 PM: Our company representative will meet you and take you to the restaurant for dinner.

DAY 2: Hanoi street food tour by scooter ( Breakfast and lunch)

In the morning 8:00: Our female drivers will pick you up and start a tour to visit Hanoi city. Firstly, you will go to a very famous coffee shop to enjoy Egg coffee that is founded in Hanoi, passed down through generations, is Café Giang (Giang Café).
Next, our drivers will take you to the Hanoi Opera House built in 1911 to take some photos together as a little memory of Hanoi.

After that we take you to local markets to see people selling everyday essentials.

Joining to Paloma Motorbike Tour, we will take you around the small alleys to visit the old houses and daily life of urban people that are very little known by tourists when visiting Hanoi.

Apart from the small alleys, we will take you through the most highlight places such as: Train StreetHo Chi Minh MausoleumHuu Tiep Lake (B52) where vestiges of war are left here.

A must-see place is the historic Long Bien bridge designed by Daydé & Pillé company (French company), the same one that also built the Effel tower in Paris. The bridge has witnessed two fierce resistance wars of the Vietnamese people. They are the war against the US and the French. Let take some more photos here for your memory. Tour ends at your hotel. 

Notes:

  • Please keep in mind that we do not go inside the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum on “Hanoi City sights and street food”tour. This attraction requires a lot of time to fully appreciate so we recommend that you visit them on your own so that we can make the most of time you have with us.

DAY 3: Hanoi – Mai Chau ( Breakfast and lunch )

8:00 AM: Our driver and tour guide will meet you at hotel and transfer to Mai Chau (150km). This is private tour, you will have many stops for taking photos. You will pass by Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant in Hoa Binh City. After visiting Hoa Binh Hydropower  Plant, we keep driving to Mai Chau.

Arrive in Mai Chau, we will have lunch at the local restaurant.

After that, we will check in homestay and relax.

Day 4 : Mai Chau cycling (Breakfast and lunch)

8:00 AM: After having breakfast, you will have an early start to take full advantage of the day. Cycling from village to village, covering a distance of around 30 kilometers. Interact with locals from the Thai and Muong ethnic minorities. They specialize in weaving brocade products and they’re happy to show visitors their skills.

 After that, you start cycling through the lovely villages in Mai Chau valley (Pom Coong, Van Mai, Xam khoe villages…). You have chance to get in touch with the local villagers, witness their daily life tilling the fields, logging or herding buffalo. 

Enjoy the lunch in Mai Chau town then come back to hotel in Mai Chau.

DAY 5: Mai Chau – Ninh Binh (Breakfast and lunch)

After having breakfast,  we drive to Ninh Binh.  On the way to Ninh Binh, you will have many stops to take photos.

10:30 AM: Arrive in Ninh Binh,  you will take a boat trip  to visit Trang An Grottoes.  An out-standing natural beauty of majestic limestone massif at 20 square kilometer rise dramatically out from rice paddy fields. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

DAY 6: Ninh Binh – Halong Bay – Lan Ha bay (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

After having early breakfast, we are driving to Halong bay (190 kms).

11:45 AM:  Arrive in Halong Bay. You are welcomed by crew team and transferred to the boat and have lunch.

After having lunch, you are joining some activities like kayaking, swimming or relaxing on sundeck to enjoy the beauty of Halong Bay. Overnight on cruise.

DAY 7: Halong Bay –  Hue city (Breakfast and lunch)

6:30 AM -7:30 AM: Breakfast is served.

6:30 AM – 7:30 AM: Breakfast is served on boat

7:30 AM: Joining cruise’s activities and have lunch on cruise.

12:00 PM: Disembark and move back the port and get on bus to Hanoi airport for your flight to Hue City.

Arrive in Hue, our tour guide and driver will pick you up and transfer you to hotel.

DAY 8: Hue Sightseeing (Breakfast, lunch)

8.00 AM: Our guide and driver meet you at the hotel and transfer you to the boat landing for a leisure boat trip along the Perfume River to visit the towering Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the most famous Vietnamese landmarks.

We then take a short drive into a lush valley of the river where seven tombs were built for seven Nguyen Emperors. We will visit two of the tombs: Minh Mang Tomb and Khai Dinh Tomb to help you understand more about Royal’s life and architecture….

Return to the city center to visit Imperial citadel, and the Forbidden Purple city, created in the 19th century for the Emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty, if time and weather permit, we could admire the glorious sunset on the Perfume river.

DAY 9: Hue city – My Son sanctuary – Hoian (Breakfast and lunch)

 8:00 AM: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up and transfer you Dang city 110 km

On the way, we will stop to visit Lang Co beach– Oyster farming village .This is one of the most beautiful beach in Vietnam.

10:00 AM: The next destination is Hai Van Pass which is the highest pass with impressive landscape in Vietnam.

After having lunch, we keep driving to visit My Son sanctuary. At My Son, you have the chance to admire attractive Apsara dance – a Khmer classical dance.

After visiting My Son, we drive back to Hoi An.

DAY 10: Hoian countryside vespa tour (Breakfast and lunch)

7:45 AM: Our Vespa Drivers will pick you up at your hotel and begin your Hoi An Countryside Vespa.
Visit a local farm, learn about rice, vegetable, and cereal crop cultivation, and experience the daily life of local farmers.
Discover traditional occupations in the countryside, such as weaving, rice-wine making, and woodcarving. Learn about newer industries like bird’s nest farming and aquaculture.
Head to a local family’s home for a delicious home-cooked meal, providing you with a unique insight into the lives of middle-class Vietnamese people. Reflect on your experiences and the new friendships formed during your day in the countryside.

DAY 11/ Day 12: Hoian – Free days (Breakfast)

These free days, you are free to explore Hoi An by your own. Maybe browse the cobbled streets and art galleries or hire a bike and cycle through rice paddies out to Cua Dai Beach. Maybe browse for paintings, ceramics and colourful cloth lanterns in the town’s markets and preserved Chinese shophouses. If you’re craving a new look, you could pay a visit to one of the hundreds of tailors and get something special made. Hoi An is also known for its delicious regional food, so be sure to enjoy a meal at a riverside restaurant or perhaps partake in a cooking class.

DAY 13: Hoian – Ho Chi Minh city (Breakfast and lunch)

Today take a short, early morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Formerly known as Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City has a fascinating history and is arguably Vietnam’s capital of commerce and culture. After landing, take a sightseeing tour around the city . Visiting the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Opera House, then stop in at the War Remnants Museum to discover some of the sobering stories of the 20-year-long Vietnam/American War.

DAY 14: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong delta (Breakfast and lunch)

8:00 AM: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at hotel and we will bring you down to the Mekong Delta.

On the way you will get a chance to view the beautiful scenery as we go past the stunning rice fields.

Upon arrival, you will take a relaxing boat trip on the Mekong River to enjoy the fresh air and the charming stilt houses at the river bank and visit the villages here.

DAY 15: Ho Chi Minh – Free day (Breakfast)

Enjoy a free day in Ho Chi Minh to get out and discover the city at your own pace. Alternatively, why not get an up close and personal history lesson on guerrilla warfare during an Urban Adventures tour to the Cu Chi tunnels. This underground network in the middle of the jungle was used by the Viet Cong during the war. Take the chance to climb into the tunnels and imagine what it would’ve been like to eat, sleep, work and cook – even go to school underground as conflict raged above. 

DAY 16: Ho Chi Minh – Departure (Breakfast)

Today you are free until our driver comes to pick you up to the airport  for your flight home.
