Day 1: Ho Chi Minh Arrival
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, our driver will pick you up to transfer you to your hotel. Free time to enjoy and explore the city by your own. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City Tour & Cu Chi Tunnels ( Breakfast and Lunch )
Have breakfast at your hotel.
Start the morning trip to Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification palace, was constructed on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is widely referred to as a historical landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue visiting the remarkable structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Additionally, followed by the outstanding site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars.
Have lunch at the local restaurant.
8:00AM: Depart for Cu Chi tunnels. It will take you approximately one and a half hours to get this destination by bus. Along the way (before exploring the tunnels), you will watch an introductory video to get the overview of how the tunnels were built and how the people survived from the harsh conditions of the war time. Right after reaching Cu Chi tunnels, spend your time on exploring the remaining area and tunnel systems which consist of the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta ( Breakfast and Lunch )
After having breakfast at hotel, our guide and driver will pick you up and we start driving from Saigon through rice paddies and small villages to My Tho (70km ~ 1.5 hours), Stop for half hours to visit Vinh Trang pagoda –one of the most beautiful and famous pagoda in Mekong.
Up on your arrival, start boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.
Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people….
After feasting on a delicious lunch, we drive back to Ho Chi Minh City for overnight.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Flight to Siem Reap – Cambodia ( Breakfast )
Today you are free until our driver comes to pick you up and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap.
Arrival in Siem Reap, you will be picked up by our guide and transferred to the hotel. You are free time to explore the city.
Day 5: Siem Reap – Angkor Wat ( Breakfast and Lunch )
After breakfast, we will visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom (the Great City), the famous Bayon temple built at the end of the 12th century and the Baphoun temple dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva, the Terrace of the Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King and Phimean Akas (the Heavenly Palace).
In the afternoon, we will visit the World Heritage Site of Angkor Wat – the largest religious building in the world. Later, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a spectacular sunset from the temple of Phnom Bakheng. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 6: Siem Reap – Banteay Srei ( Breakfast and Lunch )
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to visit Banteay Srei – the Women’s Citadel – built when the Khmer Empire was gaining power and territory and is dedicated to Shiva. It is a masterpiece of Jemer Art with pink sandstone structure and ornate design. Next, we visit the Banteay Samre temple in the same style as Angkor Wat. Back to the hotel.
Day 7: Siem Reap – Departure ( Breakfast )
There are no activities planned for the final day and you are able to depart the accommodation at any time.
