Day 1DELHI

Arrive in Delhi and transfer to the hotel.
Night at the hotel.

Day 2DELHI

Delhi is the capital of India since the early twentieth century and was founded on seven historic cities. A city ​​of contrasts that is now divided into two areas: Old Delhi, mostly of Mughal construction and New Delhi, the city built by the English in colonial times.

On our morning we will visit the tomb of Gandhi, and we will make a City Walk through the old area of Delhi, which is very close to the lively Chandni Chowk district, famous for its gold and silver merchants .

In the afternoon we will do a City Walk and we will meet an organization that will guide us through the Nizamuddin area , where we will learn the music and traditions of the Sufi religion and visit Humayun’s tomb with the young people of the neighborhood. You will discover the best kept secrets of the Sufi traditions in Delhi and with this activity we help young people in the area to benefit from tourism income.

Day 3DELHI - JAIPUR

In the morning we will depart for Jaipur, also known as the Pink City and the gateway to Rajhastan.

For two nights you will live day to day in the villages of Jaipur and discover the essence of rural areas. You will meet an Association directed by Jaimala and Hitesh that, for more than ten years, work with children and teenagers from Rajhastan and with artisan women with whom we develop the ethical fashion project . The center is an example of a happy family home. You will visit the school and small initiatives that make the community live more self-sufficient (solar panels, biogas, organic farm …).

You will learn, along with women artisans, the art of blockprinting, one of the oldest stamping techniques in India and you will make your own handkerchief made with handcrafted wooden blocks from Rajhastan! In addition, you will have time to interact with women and share different ways of life between East and West.

Day 4JAIPUR

Dedicated day in the rural area. Night in the center.

Day 5JAIPUR - AGRA

In the morning we will travel to the outskirts to visit and go up to the incredible Fuerte Ambar, and stroll through the overflowing market of Jaipur. In the afternoon we will depart towards Agra. Night at the hotel.

Day 6AGRA - DELHI

Early in the morning we will have the opportunity to see the Taj Mahal, temple of passion and one of the wonders of the world, built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1631 so that the love for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal remained immortal.

Before returning to Delhi we will visit a real elephant rescue center that is collected before the exploitation for a tourist activity. On this visit we will see the elephants free and in their own natural habitat . Depending on the time we arrive we will feed, bathe or walk the elephants. What an experience!

Day 7DELHI - JAGESHWAR

At 6am we will take a train that will take us to the Kathgodam station and then by road (4h) through the Himalayan roads, we will arrive at our magical destination, Jageshwar.

On the way, we stopped to visit the Kainchi Dham Ashram, where Steve Jobs stayed for many years for his meditation and introspection practices.

Arrival and presentation of the retreat.

Day 8 to Day 11JAGESHWAR

In the new retreat we will start every day at a healthy pace. You will wake up in a traditional room
decorated with local furniture from the forests of the Kumaon area. You will enjoy the spectacular
views of the forest, the aroma of the pines and the songs of the birds.

Nights in Jageshwar.

Start at dawn, with a walk through the forest to the ancient temples of Shiva, or doing a
practice surrounding the spirituality that the yoga room gives off.

Meditation and yoga will allow you to concentrate on the present moment and start the day with clarity.

During meals, you will discover the freshness and purity of the Sattvic diet foods, while you marvel at the views of the forest through the large windows of the dining room. The magic of our retreats lies in the purity and simplicity of the details, in the experience made to measure, and in the meeting for joy and harmony.

In the afternoons, you will walk through nature and every day you will enjoy a therapeutic massage by blind women therapists who will accompany you in this special retreat. Day 12 JAGESHWAR - DELHI

In the morning, at the agreed time, we will say goodbye to the retreat and head to the Kathgodam station to catch the train to Delhi.

Day 13DELHI

Visit to New Delhi. Beginning the visit through the administrative area of ​​the city; touring the India Gate, RashTrapati Bhawan (Residence of the President) and the Indian Parliament. The visit will be made by car and you can walk along the avenue of Rajpat (royal road) that connects the Gateway of India with the president’s house. We will also visit Lotus Temple.

On our morning we will visit the Gurudwara temple of the Sikh community, one of the most important religions in India and Birla temple. Then at the agreed time, we will transfer to the airport to catch the flight for your return. (No hotel in Delhi)
