Upon arrival at the airport, our guide will receive you to take you to your hotel. You will have the day off to explore the city at your leisure.

In the morning your expert guide will reveal the secrets of the “Great City” of Angkor Thom, where you will visit the famous Bayon Temple, the Phimeanakas Temple within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Baphuon Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the King Leper. We will spend the afternoon visiting the most famous and magnificent temple, Angkor Wat. This masterpiece of Khmer architecture was built in the 12th century and covers an area of approximately 210 hectares. Get lost in the infinity of porticoed galleries, libraries, pavilions, patios and ponds. Discover the history of Ramayana and the daily life of its inhabitants narrated in its superb carved bas-reliefs. At the end of the afternoon, we will enjoy the sunset at the Prae Rup temple. After having breakfast at the hotel, we will take a guided tour by private car to discover Kulen, the sacred mountain of Cambodia. This mountain is very popular among Cambodians, who usually visit it on holidays.
Located to the northeast of the Angkor complex, it rises to 487 meters high and its 30 km long plateau houses 56 temples, although most of them are not in good condition. On this hill was once the capital of the country, and was the birthplace of the Khmer Empire, when in the year 802, King Jayavarman II self-proclaimed “devaraja”, God-King, becoming independent of Java and giving way to birth of the current Cambodia.
Today you can still see some historical buildings, such as Prasat krau Romeos, Rong Chen (the first temple of the mountain), Sra Damrei (the pond of elephants), a Buddhist pagoda and a large reclining Buddha statue of 8 meters long carved into a block of sandstone in the sixteenth century.
In Kulen we can also admire the spectacular waterfalls that plunge into the void up to 20 meters and whose waters, which flow into the Tonle Sap lake, are considered by the Khmers a blessing, so they usually bottle it and take it home.
On the way back to our hotel in Siem Reap we will visit the charming temple of Banteay Srei, covered with fine carvings and reliefs in pink sandstone.

After breakfast at the hotel we will visit the Royal Palace complex, built in 1866 by order of King Norodom and the Silver Pagoda (the Temple of the Emerald Buddha), where a large variety of Buddha statues are encrusted and made of diamonds, Emeralds, gold and silver. We will also visit the National Museum (containing more than 5000 art objects of sandstone, bronze, silver, copper, wood …), the Independence Monument, built in 1917 and the Wat Phnom Daun Penh pagoda that was built by the Lady Daun Penh in 1372 on a hill. If time permits, we will visit the Central Market and the Russian Market.
After breakfast, transfer to Sihanoukville by private car, a coastal city located 230 kilometers from Phnom Penh. . This route leads us through beautiful rural landscapes. We will make several stops to take panoramic pictures of the city and its surroundings. Upon arrival, we will check-in at the hotel and have free time to enjoy the beach.

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer you at the scheduled time to the island of Koh Rong by boat. Once there we will take you to your hotel in Koh Rong, where you will have free time to enjoy the island. Hotel night in Koh Rong.
